You'll be hired under the premise of in time becoming one of the key influencers on the company's technical direction, whilst also having the opportunity to spearhead the Python team. For the immediate time, you'll be hired as a mid-level Python developer benefitting from one-to-one mentoring from the senior engineers and tech lead.

You will be a pivotal figure on business critical applications with real customers around the world. You'll develop solutions in a variety of languages and leading technologies. Their core system is PHP, but they use Python for greenfield back end projects. The company are very tech agnostic, and will entertain applications from technologists from all backgrounds under the premise of cross training in Python.

The recruitment lifecycle is incredibly relaxed and engaging. First and foremost, you will have a simple 20 minute chat over the phone walking through your CV and also giving you the opportunity to see if what they can offer is ticking boxes with your aspirations.
Thereafter, you'll be invited in to the Edinburgh office to participate in a purely technical discussion. You'll have the chance to get some project insight and also ask the relevant discovery questions. You'll then undertake a soft skills conversation on the same day with prospective offer to follow.
