To work as a key part of the technical team that develops and improves the Drivenlower telematics products looking to utilise the best available software & services to produce innovative, reliable and robust solutions to its customers’ requirements.
Act as the primary technical software & services development coordinator for Drivenlower - this to include, but not limited to, all research, development, implementation maintenance & testing of improved current or new system and software products – assist with all external & internal software & services requirements, specifications and delivery.
Act as the primary technical development contact point for the Drivenlower Limited customer team and assist in the management of all technical works associated with the necessary Customer facing issues as concerns Systems Reports, Incident Reports & Accident Analysis.
Co-ordinate and manage the work of external software & services suppliers / contractors to deliver all external software & services required (Development Code, Data Management, etc.)
In parallel to all of the above technical development management be vigilant for the need for appropriate customer focused forward support fixes and technical assistance improvements.
Ensure that eventual new Clients to Drivenlower have controlled new software and services project introductions that run to controlled technical standards (specs, configurations, reports).
Specific Software and Services skills:
The company is exposed to the following technologies; knowledge required in areas:
Embedded Wireless Comms, OTA Synch-server protocol, Intelligent Road Map Systems (map works incl. geo-positioning), Database Mgmt.
Other skills/knowledge required:
Knowledge of the Insurance Telematics market-place. Knowledge of Fleet & Private Tracking & Telematics Products.
Exposure to PAYG / Limited Mileage / Young Driver / Infraction Managed insurance products.
Knowledge of Internet Portals, Dashboards and Control Interfaces – exposure to Admin / System Management Tools.
Some UK travel will be required for this role.
