The Digital Solutions team at Bournemouth University (BU) is in the process of transforming BU’s digital services. Our remit is to provide the highest quality user experience for the digital services we provide to staff, students and beyond. This includes the production of new online applications and systems as well as extending the functionality of 3rd party web applications and systems.
As an Application Support Analyst, your main responsibilities will be to be focus on the technical support, systems enhancement and configuration of third party web systems, such a Service NOW. You will work closely with the existing Principal Application Support Analyst and be part of expanding the capability of the IT Digital Solutions team to provide a professional application support service.
Your work will involve a mix of planned items and problem resolution so the ability to organise your work and prioritise important tasks under pressure will be essential. Ideally you will have experience in a technical support role and be familiar with basic scripting and technologies such as XML.
This is a great opportunity to use your technical knowledge and people skills to improve the daily experience of students and staff using BU’s online systems.
