Your training will be in high quality, often high profile, work covering a wide range of legal services and topics, including human rights, constitutional law, private law, litigation and EC law. There will be opportunities to work in a variety of GLSS offices, as well the possibility of secondment for a period to a firm in private practice. As at August 2010, the salary is £22,173 in the first year, rising to £24,723 in the second.
There may be an opportunity for your appointment to be extended or made permanent, subject to satisfactory performance and the existence of suitable opportunities at the end of your traineeship.
