Gleddoch, one of the most prestigious hotel, golf and spa resorts located close to Glasgow are looking for an experienced Spa & Leisure Manager to join our existing fabulous team.
The Imperia Spa & Leisure Club is nearing the end of a multi-million pounds’ refurbishment, upon completion Imperia Spa will be one of the most luxurious in Scotland. The Spa & Leisure facility will consist of:

• 17m Swimming Pool
• Sauna & Steam Room
• Rhassoul Experience Room, Relaxation Room & 6 Elemis Treatment Rooms
• A Sun Room with 1 internal and 1 external hot tub.
• Spa Cafι

The overall objective of the successful candidate will be to deliver an outstanding experience for day guests of Gleddoch by ensuring the Spa & Leisure Club delivers a consistently high & unique level of service. As the Imperia Spa is a new concept, operational standards will require development, implementation, expansion and monitoring therefore applications are welcome from applicants who have proven success managing a branded or destination spa. The guest experience within the Imperia Spa will always be of focus however other key responsibilities will play a large part of the Spa & Leisure Managers role. These are:

• Take ownership of Spa revenues by budgeting annual revenues with the General Manager, forecasting weekly revenues & costs and striving to enhance Spa & Leisure Revenues.
• Maintain excellent relationships between the Spa team, Guests & Members by encouraging feedback and implementing initiatives to enhance treatments and experiences.
• Manage the existing team, provide career development and training to fully allow the operational standards to be effective.
• Liaise with the Spa Treatment Manager to ensure diary management is fulfilled, treatments are maximised with the most cost effective man management.
• Create and implement spa incentives based on upselling strategies and campaigns.
• Implement systems to monitor operational standards on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Have complete responsibility for the Health & Safety of the Spa. Ensure as a minimum statutory training is completed, checks such as chlorine & pH levels are carried out, recorded and maintained.

The Spa & Leisure Managers role is a new position within a newly developed Spa & Leisure Centre. This position requires the commitment from an experienced manager therefore as a minimum, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Other skills and qualifications candidates should possess before applying are:

• Beauty Level Certificate equivalent to HND and above.
• Pool Plant Certificates.
• Proven experience working with sales and the ability to drive sales.
• Problem solving.
• People Management.
• Ideally trained or knowledge of Elemis or ishma Products.
• Excellent community school.
• Leadership & Motivational Skills.
