Post Title: Transport Planning Technician (Strategy Active Travel)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC06 £22,295 - £25,116

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist the Transport Planning officer in reviewing and delivering strategic transport functions within The Highlands.
To provide input to various strategies and policies
To support the delivery of the Council's programme of improvements to infrastructure for walking and cycling
To promote active travel throughout the Council area
To liaise with other parties involved in promoting and funding active travel
