SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with the Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, for a Senior Communications Officer based in Dunfermline.
We are looking for someone with a creative spark, an eye for a good story and who loves animals to join our award-winning communications team and help further develop the profile of the 2013 Scottish Charity of the Year.
Applicants must have sound knowledge and experience of working either in the media or public relations, the ability to write fluent copy to tight deadlines and the desire to make a difference to the lives of the thousands of animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA every year.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and involves providing a weekend, evening and public holiday on call service on a rota basis.
As the role is primarily office-based, applicants must be able to commute to Dunfermline. A UK driving licence is essential.
