Zero Waste Scotland, Scotland’s resource efficiency and circular economy expert is looking for an experienced and highly motivated marketing or communications professional to join our Consumer Engagement team on a 12 month contract.
The Consumer Engagement Project Manager will deliver campaigns that engage Scottish consumers and support them to adopt resource efficient behaviours. You will work with others to enhance and promote Zero Waste Scotland’s consumer brands, using a variety of communications and engagement methods and working with a wide range of partners.
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will be educated to degree level or have experience in a relevant discipline or have the requisite specialist experience. You will have significant experience of project management within a communications/marketing environment, with experience of identifying communications challenges and developing appropriate, strategic responses. Ideally you will have a broad knowledge of environmental issues in particular waste and recycling trends.

£32,082 (pay range is £32,082 - £37,744 and the successful candidate will be appointed to the starting point).
