This is a brand new opportunity within an international marketing group within the Scottish creative team (based in Edinburgh). They have an immense portfolio of clients and serve customers in a range of markets including retail, financial services, travel, automotive, healthcare, leisure, pharmaceutical and the public sector.
Are you a creative graphic and web designer who loves design and is looking for a varied role that will give you the opportunity to really make your mark within a growing, dynamic team?
You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience covering both graphic and web design.
With a proven ability to develop highly creative and effective design concepts alongside the hands-on experience to see projects through from briefing to production, you will be a strong conceptual thinker producing compelling design solutions across all media.
No two days will be the same. You will be creating print and online reports and marketing comms, presentations, email campaigns and B2B online and print campaigns.
You will need:
- Up to date understanding of HTML and CSS
- Excellent understanding of usability and accessibility
- Exceptional creative skills
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting to senior management teams
- Excellent multimedia production skills e.g. motion graphics/ video
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable with being vocal to challenge opinions
- Ability to multi-task
- Well organised with a strong eye for detail
- Energetic team player
- The ability to work under pressure and within corporate guidelines
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a marketing agency that produces award-winning work for a huge variety of clients: from print and digital design for the public sector to branding for an international youth arts festival, from apps for the NHS’s annual conference to integrated campaign for a a mental health charity. Within this role, however, you will be working mainly on financial services.
You will be a key member of the on site agency team which consists of an Account Director, Account Manager, Designer and Developer. A large part of the role is to be the company’s brand guardian, protecting the brand and critiquing work done by other agencies. You will also be tasked with developing and managing members of the team.
This is a key role from our client's perspective as the on site team are an extension of the financial company’s brand and digital department which we aim to develop and strengthen.
