Scotmid’s aim is to be Scotland’s preferred community convenience retailer and a key factor in achieving this is through our people. We currently have a vacancy for a Branch Supervisor in our Law Store working 39 hours per week.
Our perfect candidates will have retail supervisory experience ideally in food, although we would like to hear from anyone who has a real passion for retail, who wants to develop a career in a fast paced environment.
Supporting the Manager in running the store you will have shared responsibility for a number of key areas including:-
- Ensuring that the best possible level of customer service is consistently delivered in line with agreed standards and performance targets
- Supporting the store to achieve contribution budget by driving sales and controlling costs
- Ensures that best practices are implemented and consistently executed on a day to day basis e.g. store presentation, point of sale, promotional execution
- Coach, train and develop staff to meet the store and business needs and deliver personal development opportunities.
You will follow a comprehensive induction and training plan to get up to speed with our business quickly. To ensure that we comply with legislation you must be eligible to become a Personal Licence Holder.
