As Places for People grows we are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Edinburgh. Reporting into the Sales Manager you will coordinator the sales and marketing function within the Groups Outright and Affordable sales programme across Scotland.

What your role will be

This role will require you to manage the day to day process of sales and marketing through the lifecycle of a project ensuring that purchaser’s expectations are met.

You will manage the progress of reservations, identifying areas of concerns within the conveyancing process solving or escalating as necessary.

You will work with sales agents and site negotiators to maintain accurate sales records for each sales.

Working alongside the Sales Manager you will assist in providing accurate forecasting data in relation to expected sales completion dates and values.

You will work closely with our customers and keep records of sales extras and specification choices.

As Places for People grows we are always looking for ways to improve, we want you to contribute to this growth, looking for ways to improve our systems and service levels.

You will maintain accurate information within Accommodation Schedules and tour computer systems, keeping accurate plot files and acting as the contact point for external Sales Agents and Sales Negotiators.

Your background

To be considered for this post we need you to have excellent interpersonal skills. We need you to a highly effective administrator with excellent organisation skills. Although an understanding of the house buying process and stages in Scotland would be beneficial although not essential. 

Strong relationship building skills particularly on a networking basis are essential, the ability to relate to people at varying organisational levels and our customers is paramount. 

You should have a passion for excellent customer service and delivery expectations. Experience of handling day to day issues and complaints would be beneficial.

An awareness of current housing trends would be advantageous.

The key duties for this post will be varied and you should have the ability to manage your time affectively with a very keen eye for detail.

You should have excellent computer literacy skills with an in-depth knowledge and ability to work with a range of computer programmes, systems including Microsoft products.

As this role may require occasional travel to sites a driving license would be highly preferable.
