Exsel IT & Communications are one of Scotland’s fastest growing organisations and are an award-winning ICT company who offer innovative IT, Telecommunications, Networking and Print solutions. We provide a wide range of products and solutions, technical fixes and reviews of existing set ups as well as all other generalised IT, Communications and Print advice. In the past 3 years we have grown from 5 people to over 50, and as part of our continued growth strategy we are currently looking to appoint an experienced sales candidate to the position of Photocopier & Print Management Specialist, a position in which you will be responsible for heading up this product area for us and developing new SME business opportunities as well as selling into our existing customers.   

Working out of our Glasgow Head Office in CityPark on Alexandra Parade, the successful applicant will be a proven Business Development Consultant within the Photocopier Print Management sector. Our core manufacturer partner in this product area is Utax, who have just recently awarded us their Print Management Partner of the Year award. We offer excellent pricing and 3-tier billing with Utax and so this area of our business has grown tremendously in the past 12 months. We will also be looking to add to our manufacturer partners as well in order to be able to offer other options to our customers.   

It will be your main objective to generate sales with companies of all sizes and - although our pricing is extremely competitive - you will also be a solution led sales person who does not always rely on price to sell. This role is primarily focused on sales delivery and it is suited only to people who are target driven, sales hungry and who can exploit their exceptional new business sales skills to deliver results. You will of course be looked upon to generate self-made opportunities of your own but you will also have extensive assistance from a lead generation telemarketing team within the business who will supply you with a number of additional opportunities as well. 

Proven sales experience within this area of industry is essential to your application, as this role requires you to have extensive knowledge of the products, manufacturers, competitors and the Scottish Print Management marketplace in general. You must be very personable, have exceptional communication skills and of course have a full driving license. The starting basic salary for this position is up to around £32,000 but is negotiable and also depending on experience, with on target earnings of the same figure as your basic salary available in a commission structure that is also uncapped. An additional car allowance is also provided on top of your salary.
