MODERN APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES
What is the role?
To train as a Social Services and Health Care Modern Apprentice and develop the required level of skills, knowledge, experience and competence during the 12 month apprenticeship programme.
Our Modern Apprenticeship Programme offers:Work experience in one of South Ayrshire Council's residential units or day centres The opportunity to gain an SVQ Level 2 in Social Services and Health Care Employability Award SCQF Level 4 A range of Modern Apprentice challenges to further develop your skills

The Council provides a wide range of employability opportunities for people in South Ayrshire in order to support them in gaining experience, training and employment. This programme is part of the council's youth employability initiative. We are committed to offering career development opportunities for young people and to comply with the conditions of funding from skills development Scotland, applicants must be 19 years of age or under on the start date of Monday 9 January 2017.
Our selection process will entail an assessment centre and competency based interview on Monday 14 November 2016.
