We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.  In May 2011 we changed our name from Bexley and Bromley Advocacy. We called the project Advocacy for All because we believe everyone should have access to advocacy and self advocacy support and because we want to develop the organisation to work with more people and in a wider geographical area.

The organisation has continued to grow and develop at a fast pace and has recently been awarded contracts in Bexley, Sutton and Kent. We work with all client groups to provide advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA),NHS Complaints Advocacy and Care Act Advocacy as well as other projects.

We are a user led organisation who believes that people should be supported to have a voice and get the support they need to become respected members of the local community.

We have been awarded the Investors in People standard for the past 7 years. We have developed a network of working partnerships across the areas we work in and are looking to develop our work in the areas we already work in as well as developing in new areas.

Relevant Persons Representative (RPR)

  • Bexley

Unfortunately, sometimes people's liberty and freedom are restricted. Their interests are ignored and decisions are made against their will. To protect people when this happens, and also to prevent it from happening, there are legal safeguards in place which ensure everyone has a representative to uphold their best interests.

When there is no one in the person's life who is willing or able to act as his or her representative, a Relevant Person (RPR)  can take up this role. However, if they are willing, a person can have a member of their family or a friend appointed as their representative.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful expanding organisation and an opportunity to develop and utilise your skills to provide successful outcomes for the people who use our services.
