This is an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant / Domestic to join the Blairgowrie Day Opportunities team. The post holder will provide Day Opportunities for Adults with learning disabilities, supporting service users to enable them to access and participate in a variety of group activities within the community and set building bases.
We require a dynamic person who is motivated to support individuals with learning disabilities to lead as ordinary a life as possible in the community. You will support individuals and undertake duties as outlined in the individual Personal plans / passport and record progress and outcomes.
Duties will also include assisting individuals with personal care and cleaning tasks within building and other duties as required.

You should have experience of working with vulnerable adults who have learning disabilities / autism. In addition you should have good communication skills and an awareness of health and safety.
Community working is required to support individuals in their daily activities.
The successful applicant must have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years and be prepared to under take MIDAS driver training, which requires a D1 entitlement.
You will support and encourage individuals to undertake all aspects of Daily activities, this including personal care tasks as required.
You will assist individuals in group activities and support individuals to access community based social, leisure, and employment related opportunities and record progress and outcomes.
Duties will include undertaking cleaning and other domestic duties as necessary.
