Fife Childcare and Early Years Services provides a range of childcare services throughout Fife, including around 50 Out of School Clubs for children aged 4 - 14 years old and local Creches for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.


Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.


Working as and when required covering staff absence, you will be responsible for planning, organising and taking part in play and leisure activities for children and young people. The work is varied involving activities ranging from art, crafts or drama to taking children on outings and from cookery to outdoor games or active sports.
