Due to the continued expansion of our Junior School we are seeking to appoint a part time After School and Holiday Club Co-Ordinator qualified to SVQ level 4 or equivalent. Applications are invited from candidates with play work, child care or teaching experience.
The After School and Holiday Club Co-Ordinator would operate as an effective member of the Junior School Staff in St Aloysius’ College. Working with the Out of School Care Manager they will be expected to develop our out of school care and holiday club facilities.
Our After Care Facility is well-established and hosts approximately 35 children from 3pm - 6pm each day from Kindergarten to Primary 7 in our school campus. The Holiday Club is a recent addition to our provision, hosting approximately 30 children during most of the school holidays from 8am - 6pm for 3-14 year-olds in our school sports facility located at Millerston.
Hours of work are from 2pm - 6pm (20 hours per week) during term time, which equates to 38 weeks. For 10 weeks in the year when the Holiday Club is in operation, the hours will be from 8am until 6pm (50 hours per week).
Salary will be £20,000 per annum pro rata. The successful candidate will be required to join the Protection for Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
