£33,970 - £36,434 (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking to appoint a qualified Social Worker to join our well established Children and Families Team on a temporary basis.
You will be part of a small team covering the full range of statutory duties. You will be expected to undertake standby duty on a rota basis. We will provide regular supervision and guidance within a supportive team.
Orkney Health and Care have a commitment to developing preventative and non-statutory intervention. We have invested time and finances into this approach including developing social pedagogy and systemic practice.

You will hold a relevant qualification, DipSW or equivalent, and registration with SSSC.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children and adults.
