ng homes is a leading community based Housing Association that provides housing and support services to almost 7,000 homes within North Glasgow covering Springburn, Balornock, Possilpark and Parkhouse. ng homes vision is to create a new North Glasgow: a great place to live, learn, work, visit and invest. The Association views housing and regeneration as being intrinsically linked and has taken a proactive approach to tackling deep rooted issues within the community to create long lasting change.
We are now looking to recruit an Active Wellbeing Officer. This post is made possible through funding from the Scottish Government’s People and Communities Fund.
The post holder will have a minimum of 3 years experience of working with communities in building community capacity and participation.
The post holder will be based within the Association’s Regeneration department and will deliver and support a range of community activities working with older age group and will include intergenerational work. The post will link into other activities within the association’s Build, Bridge, Bond programme, promoting generational and cultural integration.
This post is subject to PVG membership.
This post is based in North Glasgow and is funded for a fixed-term period through the Scottish Government’s People and Communities Fund.
