DEVELOPMENT COACH (BENEFITS)
36.25 hours per week
Location: Peterhead & surrounding area.
We need a dynamic individual who will develop a responsive, accessible service for people affected by poverty in the Peterhead and surrounding areas providing quality advice, information on statutory benefits, and other welfare benefit matters including advocacy where required.
You will work closely with the Foyer Learning team and other agencies in co-ordinating detailed Casework around benefit claims – at review and appeal level; and provide a complex case referral service to social work, health and voluntary service practitioners. Monitoring and reporting back on specific issues arising through addressing the requirements of those living with or at risk of poverty will be included as will the keeping of such records and regular reports on the functioning and development of the project.
