DEVELOPMENT COACH (MONEY ADVICE)
Salary: £22,287.07 per annum
36.25 hours per week
Location: Peterhead and Surrounding Areas
We require an experienced individual who can deliver a money advice service for people affected by poverty in the Peterhead and surrounding areas. You will support people to overcome any debt issues and improve each individual’s ability to manage their own finances effectively.
Successful applicants will have a sound working knowledge of welfare benefits and an understanding of the legal rights of debtors and creditors as well as a knowledge of developing and implementing effective individual money advice strategies. Recent money advice or debt/counselling experience would be an advantage as would a recent knowledge of the benefits system.
You will work in co-operation with Money Advisers in other agencies within the local area, in the production of reports and strategies to improve the provision of money advice, including the provision of training and support to other team members dealing with money advice enquiries.
You will provide regular Project reports in accordance with ESF requirements and maintain records of benefit income raised, levels of debt and other statistics for project reporting.
