(35 hours pw; Permanent Post)

As part of our response to the introduction of changes to welfare legislation, we have reviewed the structure and delivery of our services in relation to debt and money advice. As a result, we are now looking for a special person to play a major role in the next stage of the development and delivery of Atrium’s approaches to tackling the challenges of welfare reform.

The successful candidate will provide a high quality, customer orientated money advice service and act as the focal point for contact with customers. This role will focus on maximising the income of customers and promoting financial capability through the delivery of an effective benefits and money advice service. It will involve engaging and advising customers during office interviews, over the phone and during home visits.

The challenges associated with welfare reform together with providing support to residents in maintaining their rent and factoring accounts will ensure that this is a varied and interesting post.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the advice sector or social housing environment; have a good knowledge of the current welfare reforms; have the ability to manage a diverse range of activities; have excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills; and be committed to achieving excellence in customer service.

In return we offer excellent working conditions, including 38 days leave, a Company Health Plan, flexible working arrangements, and car mileage allowance.
