                                                            Team Q Maintenance offers a varied range of technical services to commercial and industrial clients across the UK. Our busy commercial department based in Glasgow requires a Financial Analyst to support our professional team with the open book Regional Prime Contract for the MOD. This is an excellent time to join our team, as we have just taken on some new business, and are planning for further growth. Working directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include ·         Preparation of monthly financial reports ·         Assisting with the preparation of month end data ·         Providing support with client lead financial audits ·         Agreeing  invoiced sales on a quarterly basis ·         Assisting in the preparation of Quarterly and Yearly reconciliations ·         Assisting in the close out of legacy issues with the contract ·         Providing backup data for applications and invoices ·         Interrogating cost and sale reports and providing detailed reports on outcomes The successful candidate will have an HNC in Accounting or equivalent, advanced Excel skills including the ability to use look up tools and pivot tables, and excellent financial data analysis skills. You will be required to discuss and agree figures, and to work closely with our client so will need to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.  You will be expected to to organise and handle large volumes of financial data and provide detailed reports to management and client, so you will require excellent organisation skills.
