Are you a Technical Assistant / Graduate looking for a role that is pivotal to the efficiency of your department?

We are working with a national house builder, who is looking to add depth to its technical department by adding a graduate level Technician to support the wider architectural and engineering team. This role would an excellent opportunity for those who have recently graduated or still in the final stages of their qualification and seeking something on a day release basis.

This role will see you managing the flow of communication through the department, playing a key role in supporting the Technical Manager and providing support when liaising with all 3rd parties and internal departments to ensure that all technical information relating all past / future and current developments is made available when required.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, duties will focus on but not be limited to:

Coordinating the trackers for design applications, including utilities.
Uploading building warrant applications.
Managing all portals including the NHBC portal.
Producing NHQC drawings in CAD (pretty basic CAD work).
Colouring up layouts in photoshop.
Ensuring the flow of information internally for building warrant details.
General departmental administration duties as required.

We are looking for someone who is well organised, able to demonstrate excellent IT skills across a range of platforms / software, and with an aptitude to pick things up quickly.
