Requirements Inverclyde Council wish to recruit a Data Analyst within the Community Safety Team at 40 West Stewart Street
The post holder will be responsible for the managing and analysing Police and other community safety data to help inform the Community Safety Strategic Assessment and tactical assessment to continuing the improvement of Community Safety and the reduction of violence, crime and disorder in our communities and reducing unintentional harm and promoting wellbeing and safety in our communities.
The post holder will work with other Council Services, Police, Fire & Rescue, RSLs, and other partner agencies in the successful delivery of the community safety in Inverclyde
You must be enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the ongoing development of the Service and educated to degree level or equivalent. Applicants must be able to collate and analyse complex data and should have a sound knowledge of contributing factors to community safety. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject would be an advantage.
