As we embark on our ambitious and exciting 5 year strategy we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning & Development Manager to join our team.

This new role will lead the Learning & Development agenda; partnering with our Line Managers to explore and introduce innovative learning and development opportunities and interventions to ensure we have the skills and capabilities to achieve our strategic ambition, and retain and engage our highly talented team.

About the role

With development and progression as a high priority, you will guide the way when it comes to introducing and furthering learning interventions that include advancing our work on equity, diversity and inclusion, developing our future leaders and people managers and finding innovative ways to introduce learning and development opportunities into the day to day.

This new role will work closely with Line Managers and Heads of Department to build comprehensive team and individual development plans. These will look very different as you work to provide the right bespoke development solutions for each team - which include Research, Lived Experience & Clinical Practice, Fundraising, Communications and the support services.

These interventions will include encouraging internal initiatives such as mentoring; designing and delivering our own development programmes, as well exploring external interventions and partnerships, ensuring that our teams have access to regular and inspiring development opportunities and are progressing on their career and learning journey.

As part of our supportive and dedicated HR and Operations Team, you will work closely with the Head of HR & Operations, ensuring that our learning and development agenda is aligned to our HR and People one and helping out from time to time if required.

About you

You will be a passionate and skilled communicator, collaborator, facilitator and coach. An experienced learning and organisational development practitioner, who is confident and adept at building relationships, planning and co-ordinating and delivering innovative and cost-effective learning solutions.
