s1jobs has been voted Best Regional Job Site at the National Online Recruitment Awards, for the fifth year running. It is the first time in the history of the awards that any site has won its category five times in succession.
Votes were cast by members of the public, with the most popular websites in each category making a shortlist of five finalists. Sites were judged on volume of vacancies and visitors, ease of use, facilities for job seekers and prominence in their target market.

The award follows the busiest ever month for s1jobs; during October the site attracted in excess of 400,000 unique users.
s1jobs launched in January 2001 and immediately became the market leading recruitment website in Scotland. More than 2,000 businesses – including Scotland’s top 5 PLCs – now choose to recruit through the site.
