Thousands of people braved the rain to make JobSearch Live a huge success.
The Evening Times recruitment fair saw almost 1000 jobseekers flock to the event within an hour of the doors opening at the Thistle Hotel in Renfrew Street, Glasgow.
Employers such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Wealth, Careers Scotland and the Royal Navy were among those participating.
They were joined by LearnDirect Scotland, the Home Learning College and Glasgow Metropolitan College, who all joined forces to make sure the day was just the job for all those who attended.
It follows the success of the first two JobSearch Live fairs at the same venue last year.
School leavers, university graduates and those looking for a career change were among those who attended yesterday.
They included brothers Peter and Christopher Blair, from Moodiesburn, Lanarkshire.
Peter, 21, was recently paid off as a barber and was keen to get advice on a change of career.
He said: "I am keeping my options open, but there are plenty of employers here to talk to."
Younger brother Christopher, also 21, recently left the Merchant Navy and, with a small child at home, is keen to find a career that will keep him closer to home.
He said: "I keep being told I do not have enough experience for jobs, but I have had good feedback from the bus companies here. I am keeping my fingers crossed."
Heather Wright, a recruitment consultant with mobile phone firm O2, was also impressed by the fair.
She said: "This event has always been very successful for us.
"We are here because we are recruiting around 700 full and part-time customer service advisers at our base at the Skypark in Finnieston."
As well as hundreds of jobs on offer, there was free internet access to allow visitors to search vacancies online and advice from Glasgow's Regeneration Agencies on compiling the perfect CV.
Adviser Barry Wilson said: "We see a whole spectrum of people, from those looking for a change in career to people who have been unemployed for 20 years.
"We can advise people on how to break barriers and get back into the job market."
A JobSearch Live spokeswoman said: "The event has been an overwhelming success."
