Quintiles to create 70 jobs by 2011

The building includes the £9.5m state-of-the-art Central Laboratory - more than double the size of the existing laboratory.
Quintiles, which provides clinical testing services to drug makers and currently has 640 employees at two sites in Livingston, received a £1.25m grant from the Scottish Government in recgonition of the postive effect the new development will have on the Scottish economy.
In 2007, the company announced it would create 150 posts as part of its Scottish expansion of which 80 have already been created.
