Adam Appointments has been operating since January 2003. It was established to address a skills gap in recruitment expertise and services available within the Scottish Corporate Governance market. It was set up by Lucy Adam, Managing Director, who until then had been working at KPMG.

AA is a niche consultancy, the only Scottish agency specialising exclusively in Corporate Governance recruitment within the Scottish market. We deal extensively in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit/ IT Audit and Information Security positions within Financial Services and the Big 4. Our network of Corporate Governance candidates and clients to whom we offer contingency recruitment services, consultancy and advice is extensive.

We have a preferred supplier relationship with the majority of our clients, including the leading Banking, Insurance and Investment organisations that are head-quartered or have a significant presence in Scotland, and the Big 4 Risk Assurance/ Advisory teams. Working with a portfolio of clients we know inside out, we can advise candidates which companies, teams and roles can offer the best fit in terms of their experience, personal competencies and aspirations.
