We believe in providing our employees with an excellent benefits package - something you’d expect from a large financial services organisation. Of course, our size means we have offices all around the country and different locations may enjoy slightly different benefits. So, for example, if you join us in Edinburgh, you’ll enjoy the following:

A group personal pension

No one knows the value of having good pension provision better than us – it’s our business, after all. We’ll set you up with a group personal pension and make contributions on your behalf. And, in turn, you can increase your pension by paying additional voluntary contributions, should you choose.

Permanent health insurance

Finances are always a worry if you’re off work sick for a long time. However, if you’re off work continously for 28 weeks, you’ll receive benefits under this scheme, so long as you produce satisfactory medical evidence and the insurer accepts the claim.

Life cover

It’s not a pleasant thought, but it’s always good to know you’re prepared for the unexpected (as much as possible) and that your loved ones won’t have to struggle financially if you die. We offer life cover of four times your pensionable salary when you join us, offering you and your family peace of mind on money matters. Private medical care

Let’s face it, we all need to visit the doctor and sometimes there’s more to it than a quick checkup. This cover pays for the cost of private medical treatment if you need it.

Flexible benefits

This scheme offers a range of voluntary benefits for you to choose from, for example childcare vouchers, dental care, retail vouchers, health screening, critical illness or personal accident cover, buying or selling holidays and more.

Flextime

Got a dentist’s appointment or need to go to the bank? Not to worry - as long as you work up the hours on our flex system, and you work hours that meet the needs of the business, you can take time off to sort out the bits and pieces you can’t do at the weekend. The way it works, you may be able to take a total of 18 extra days off a year!

Bonus

Everyone likes to be rewarded for their hard work. Our bonus is based on your own and the company’s performance, and we pay it out in the January of each year.
