HMP Addiewell

HMP Addiewell is the newest prison being built in Scotland, and one which will make a real difference in creating a Safer Scotland.

Run by Kalyx, in conjunction with the Scottish Prison Service, Addiewell can house 796 Male Prisoners and will employ over 350 people who will share a set of values, chief among these being a passion for the development of people, regardless of whether staff or prisoners.

Opening in December 2008, we will be a learning prison. We will focus on having a strong and concerted focus on learning, relevant skills training and employability. We want to work with all areas of the wider community to ensure prisoners have the best possible chance of leading positive lives following release.

We are looking for a variety of people to join us in a number of key roles within the prison. The roles we are recruiting for are as diverse and interesting as the people who will perform them.
