What We Offer

Morgan Stanley is highly committed to individual training and Personal Development. As well as regular one to one meetings there is a formalised mid-year and year end review as well as goal setting at the start of each year.

Induction

All employees attend an initial induction day which introduces them to the Firm and the Glasgow operation. During their first three months a further 6 modules of induction are completed along with technical training of the role.

Talent Management

Through Talent Management our colleagues express their interest in roles in other business areas both in Glasgow and beyond as well as enabling managers to search for the right career opportunity for their team members. Talent Management also ensures that all opportunities are advertised internally in the first instance.

Professional Qualifications

IAQ

In Glasgow all of our staff is given the opportunity to sit the Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ) which is the industry recognised qualification. We also offer the Diploma in Investment Operations.

CIMA/ACCA/ICAS

Within our Finance functions in Glasgow employees in relevant roles are able to apply for our professional development program which provides structured training and development towards one of the professional qualifications.
