Supporting Our Community

By joining RESPONSE you will be part of a team with a strong community spirit. We support one main charity per year and raise a target sum of money that will have a significant impact on that charity. Our main charity is chosen through employee nomination and our current charity of choice is Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.

RESPONSE sponsors the Glasgow Warriors Rugby team, which has enabled us to become more involved with community initiatives; the Warriors represent the city of Glasgow and we are delighted to continue our commitment to the local community through joint initiatives with the team. The Warriors’ success also highlights the benefits of focus, energy and effective teamwork – elements that are at the heart of our own business.

We also have a responsibility to minimise our impact on the environment and are continuously seeking ways to reduce our carbon footprint as part of our overall corporate strategy. We are fully committed to carrying out our business in an environmentally responsible manner and key areas of focus to date have included waste separation and recycling, electricity consumption, printing reduction and stationery ordering. We also participate in the 10:10 project to unite every sector of British society and achieve a 10% cut in the UK’s carbon emissions throughout 2010
