Field / Support Engineer

Evolve-IT are delighted to bring to market a position with a leading provider of office solutions, specializing in hardware maintenance and support services.

They are seeking a highly skilled Field/Support Engineer to join their team in the Dundee area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a variety of office hardware, including scanners, printers, and other equipment. As the Field/Support Engineer, you will be the face of the company, providing on-site support and troubleshooting to ensure the equipment operates smoothly.

What will your role be?

·      Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scanners, printers, and office hardware.

·      Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.

·      Install and configure new equipment as needed.

·      Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide customized solutions.

·      Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

·      Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

How could you be perfect?

·      Proven experience as a Field Engineer or similar role, preferably in the office equipment industry.

·      Proficiency in maintaining and servicing scanners, printers, and office hardware.

·      Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.

·      Excellent communication and customer service skills.

·      Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Dundee area.

·      Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
