Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a Production Assembler to join our Pre-Production team.

 

You will manufacture components and sub assembly components according to the Production plan to achieve required output whilst ensuring all quality standards are met.

 

Hours of work are Monday to Wednesday, 7am – 6pm and Thursday, 7am – 5.30pm and the salary is £12 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and SOP’s
  • Skilfully use a wide range of air and hand tools
  • Follow a defined process without deviation
  • Maintain and build all assemblies to the quality standard required
  • Use and maintain company tools in a safe, clean, and workable condition
  • Complete all company documentation where necessary and maintain all work areas to company standard

 

To be effective in this role, you will have:

 

  • Previous experience of using power/air tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good planning and organisational skills

 

Previous experience within a manufacturing/ production environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
