Stock Manager

We are seeking a Stock/Warehouse Manager to join our existing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics operations, including warehouse management, shipping and receiving, materials handling, and transportation management systems. It would be beneficial if the candidate had some previous warehouse management skill (although this is not essential) and possess excellent data analysis skills.

Duties:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise costs
- Manage the warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient materials handling
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, monitor product movement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all logistics activities

Proven experience in Stock Management or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, shipping/receiving processes, and materials handling techniques would be preferential.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, Warehouse/Stock Control : Preferred but not essential.
