Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

The primary function of the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor role is to support the Operations and Offshore departments, predominately in aspects of warehousing and logistics with a focus on supporting further procurement functions.

Responsibilities:

Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

Logistics & Stores-

• Receive goods in line with the company Goods in Procedures.


• Obtain competitive quotes for logistic and transportation costs.


• Maintain onshore inventory and stores and uphold high standards of housekeeping.


• Maintain onshore inventory records.


• Support offshore crew with vessel inventory management.


• Prepare documentation to meet all customs requirements as well as compliance with client requests.


• Maintain accurate records of all goods movements in compliance with company policies.


• Liaise with in country agents.


Must be prepared to support Purchasing and Procurement in the following areas: -

• Identify and appoint new / potential vendors when appropriate.


• Receive and process Material Requisitions from the offshore crews.


• Process orders as per company procurement procedures


• Provide support and guidance to the Operations and Offshore teams with costs and availability for equipment/services.


• Maintain a high level of communication with the offshore crews on the process status of material requisitions.


• Develop and maintain a high aptitude for the Aratellus assets and machinery.


General

• Provide Holiday and absence cover to the Supply Chain Manager Duties.


• Provide support and cover to other departments as and when required.


• Provide a leading example in line with all company Health and Safety procedures.
  
  A solid understanding of freight forwarding, HMRC procedures and vessel agent activities.


• An understanding of procurement principles.


Desirable

• Experience of import / export logistics in the subsea robotics sector


• Experience in procurement for the Subsea robotics sector

Academic Education & Qualifications Essential:

PC Literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Outlook and Excel,
• Warehouse management: 2 years (required)
