iMultiply are partnering with a well-established and friendly legal business requiring a Finance Assistant for their Glasgow city central office.

The Company

This business is undoubtedly one of the market leaders within their sector working with a number of recognisable clients.

The Role

Due to continual growth of the business, this company is looking to hire a Finance Assistant to add value to the finance team.

You will report directly to the Cashroom Manager and be responsible for a wide variety of finance tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day finance function.

Responsibilities

Recording day to day financial transactions for both client and firm
Identification and allocation of client receipts
Office and client payments
Raising and paying in-cheques
Processing deposit account transactions, (uplifts, lodgements, closures & new accounts)
Allocating payment to fees
Processing balance reports
Reconciliation of client balances/deposit accounts
Residual balance investigation
Assist with cover for any other departmental tasks as and when required
Working with various Banks own online systems

On Offer

This role offers a starting salary between £25,000 - £30,000 As well as offering plenty of holidays, pension, and healthcare. The company is happy to negotiate regarding flexible working and career-progressing training for the right candidate.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

Previous experience in a similar type role
Experience in a legal environment
Strong organisational skills
Strong IT skills (in particular Excel)
Ability to work to deadlines
Excellent communication skills
