West Dunbartonshire Council Planning and Building Standards Service are looking for an enthusiastic Support Assistant to join their Technical Support Team.

The successful applicant should have an understanding of the fundamental principles of Planning & Building Standards, be enthusiastic, well organised, self-motivated and be able to work to tight deadlines whilst retaining a high level of accuracy.

Candidates must have relevant experience of working in a busy office environment, be computer literate in various Microsoft packages and must be willing to undertake additional training relevant to this post.

An ability to multi-task and work on your own initiative is required. You should be able to manage conflicting demands and have excellent communication skills along with a good telephone manner. We are a close working multiskilled team therefore it is paramount you are a team player and participate effectively.

This is a part time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
