Some of the best ways to make sure you\u2019re coming across in an impressive manner include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong>Dressing to impress<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>How someone chooses to dress themselves \u2013 especially for something as important as a job interview \u2013 says a lot about them. As such, your employer is likely to make an early judgement call based on what you\u2019re wearing. While a full suit isn\u2019t a necessity, it\u2019s wise to dress smartly. A sloppy appearance can tell a lot about a person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong>Making eye contact<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Looking into someone\u2019s eyes shows you\u2019re engaged and interested in what\u2019s being said. Just remember not to hold eye contact for more than a few seconds. If the position feels awkward to you, try practising it at home ahead of time. What\u2019s more, this stance also helps encourage a powerful voice, as it places no restrictions on your diaphragm or vocal cords.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong>Hellos and goodbyes<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>When you greet and say farewell to someone, you leave a mark. Make sure to give a friendly smile, make direct eye contact, and shake their hand if they offer theirs to you.
