Welcome to Changeworks! We are Scotland’s leading environmental charity with a vision for a world where everyone can live, work, and enjoy life with a low-carbon impact. Climate change is the most significant threat to the environment and our way of life, and our mission is to make low-carbon living a reality for everyone across Scotland.
At Changeworks, we need more people than ever to help us to support people across Scotland to lower the carbon emissions from their homes – whether by installing long-term solutions such as heat pumps or by taking smaller actions around the home that will improve its energy efficiency.
The climate emergency is escalating, and we can’t afford further delay. We are scaling up our efforts to engage with more organisations and householders to decarbonise Scotland’s homes.
The Scottish Government has committed to reducing the country’s carbon emissions by 90% by 2040 and have set a 2045 target for net zero emissions for all greenhouse gases – we all have a huge part to play in this effort.
