Kingdom Support and Care is a Community Interest Company, a private company limited by shares and a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingdom Housing Association (KHA). The company was created to ensure that the care and support services previously provided by KHA, continued to be delivered in the most effective way and to increase the viability of the service in the longer term. The company became operational from 1 April 2017. We believe that 'Great support, leads to great lives'. Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) delivers high quality support and care services to around 260 people throughout Fife & Falkirk. Our overarching objective is to assist individuals in need of support to live as full and independent a life as possible as part of the community. We respect the uniqueness and worth of the people we support, recognising that their views, wishes and participation are key to planning and delivering quality services. We are committed to ensuring that our staff have the necessary skills, qualifications and support which meet National Care Standards. We offer staff the opportunity to undertake vocational qualifications to meet the workforce registration requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). KSC has excellent Care Inspectorate grades and has recently been awarded a Silver grade accreditation from Investor in People. No, we believe that if you have the rights values, then Kingdom Support and Care can provide you with the necessary training to be an excellent Support Worker.

Do I need to be a member of the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme?
Yes, all our staff are subject to a PVG Check through Disclosure Scotland for working with Children and Protected Adults. The cost of which are £18 or £59. The cost of membership is borne by you.
Do I need to have a driving licence?
In most services there is a requirement for staff to be able to drive, either to drive supported individuals cars as part of their support, or to use their own vehicle to drive to a service users home to provide support. Although there are times when a driving licence is not essential depending on the needs of the service.
