About Us: Pollock Scotrans was an independent, family-run UK logistics provider that has been operating for over 75 years, since its founding in 1935. The core business for nearly eighty years has been the transportation of goods across the UK.

Our History: Pollock Scotrans has a rich history that dates back to 1935 when George (WGD) Pollock began his local cartage business in Corstorphine, west of Edinburgh. In 1949, the fleet became part of British Road Services when road transport was nationalised, but in 1954, partial de-nationalisation allowed George to buy some vehicles and licenses and restart the business. In 1963, George's two sons, Ian and George, joined the business, and Ian introduced the tradition of individually naming the trucks—a tradition that continues today. The third generation, Scott, joined the business in 1984. Since October 2006, Pollock Scotrans has been based on a nine-acre site at Bathgate, West Lothian.

Gregory Distribution acquired Pollock Scotrans in March 2021. This acquisition allowed Pollock Scotrans to become part of a larger group while maintaining its strong brand.
