Full Job Description

Fixed Term 12 months
Hybrid Office / Home Working

An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager has arisen. The role will support various change initiatives across Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), however, the predominant focus of the role is to support projects within the Home 1st Programme.  The post will involve working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary colleagues and stakeholders to establish, plan, deliver and review projects. You will have a proven track record in managing projects and ensuring delivery within tight and competing deadlines.  The projects supported are fast-paced and therefore not suitable for those looking to develop into a project management role.

This post sits within the HSCP Transformation and Change Team/Programme Management Office (PMO).  Candidates are required to have a working knowledge of Prince2 and Quality Improvement methodology.  An awareness of Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) methodology is desirable.  The PMO is supported by Microsoft Project Online.

The post is available on a 12 month fixed term or secondment basis.

Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.

For informal enquiries please contact Anca Wilson, Programme Manager at Anca.Wilson@nhs.scot.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Recruiting Board.
