Customer Journey Manager (GBST Composer)
6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Edinburgh - 2 Days Per Week) | Inside IR35

We're seeking an experienced Customer Journey Manager with strong hands-on knowledge of GBST Composer to support a significant annuities modernisation programme.
This is not a technical development role. We're looking for someone who understands how Composer is used in a live operational environment, how business processes interact with the platform, and how end-to-end annuity journeys work in practice.
Working closely with business SMEs, Customer Journey Managers and delivery teams, you'll help ensure journey design, operational processes and transformation activities remain aligned throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for the day-to-day use of GBST Composer.
- Support modernisation activities by providing expertise on current and future-state processes.
- Facilitate journey mapping, discovery workshops and impact assessments.
- Identify process impacts, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with business and delivery teams to support end-to-end customer and operational journeys.
Essential Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with GBST Composer in a live operational environment.
- Strong annuities product knowledge and understanding of end-to-end annuity journeys.
- Experience within pensions, retirement, insurance or financial services.
- Strong understanding of how Composer supports operational processes and customer journeys.
- Experience supporting journey mapping, business change and transformation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- User Access Management (UAM) experience.
- Experience supporting annuities or platform modernisation programmes.
