Full Job Description

  • Must hold a valid driving licence (normal licence sufficient).

  • Previous experience driving similar-sized vehicles is essential.


    • Requirements for 7.5t Drivers:
  • Must hold a valid CPC training certificate.

  • Previous experience in multi-stop city driving is preferred.

    • Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation of 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles within Glasgow city limits.

  • Completion of scheduled collections as part of a multi-stop route system.

  • Adherence to traffic, vehicle weights and waste transportation laws and regulations.

  • Effective communication and coordination with the dispatch team to ensure timely service.
