Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join a growing professional services business in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to work with a varied client portfolio, delivering high-quality financial support and helping businesses achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will provide a range of accountancy services while building strong client relationships and supporting business growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and is looking to further develop their career within professional services.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting statutory reporting and audit processes
• Preparing cashflow forecasts and financial analysis
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Attending client meetings and supporting business projects
• Identifying opportunities to add value through additional services
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience

The ideal candidate will be ICAS or ACCA qualified/finalist or have suitable relevant experience gained form practice or industry. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Previous experience within practice or a client-facing finance role would be advantageous.
