Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive team within a well-established business in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their skills within a varied finance and administration role.

Working closely with the wider office and finance team, you’ll support the day-to-day accounts function while assisting with general administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices, including multi-line invoices

• Matching and inputting invoice data accurately into Xero

• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

• Updating spreadsheets and maintaining accurate financial records

• Providing general administrative support across the office

The successful candidate will have previous accounts payable experience along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience using Xero would be advantageous, although not essential. You’ll have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and support the wider team.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, with an early finish every Friday. Get in touch for more information!
