Accounts Assistant (4 Month Contract)

Pertemps is delighted to be partnering with our client in Paisley to recruit an Accounts Assistant on an initial 4 month contract to join their growing finance team in the construction industry. The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You’ll work closely with the wider finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow management
• Supporting month-end close activities
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with supplier and customer queries
• Supporting the preparation of reports and financial data

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems
• Excellent communication skills
• A proactive and positive approach to work

• Competitive salary of £27,000 – £31,000
